Translation Conversation Risk Checker

Select the consequence, environment, and sensitive details in a conversation to get a conservative verification level and safer next steps.

High consequence is always high risk; medium consequence with specialist terms is high risk; other medium consequence or any risk factor is elevated. Low consequence with no factors is low risk. This is a practical checklist, not a clinical or scientific score, and high-risk decisions never rely on app-only translation.

Result

Separate convenience from consequence

A mistranslated restaurant preference and a mistranslated medication instruction do not carry the same consequence. The checker starts with the decision risk, then adds environmental and content factors that make recognition or confirmation harder.

  • High consequence automatically requires a human or authoritative fallback.

Verify the fragile details

Names, numbers, dates, addresses, dosage, money, and commitments should be repeated, displayed in writing, and confirmed independently. Overlapping speech and noise should be reduced before adding more technology.

  • A clear transcript is evidence of recognition, not proof that the translation is correct.
